When a new, charismatic preacher arrives to the town in the Wild West he quickly wins over the community with his preaching. But for the deaf Liz, the preacher brings only terror. Together with her husband and children, Liz, the midwife, is considered an honored member of the community right until one night she loses a child in childbirth. The locals blame her and the preacher nurses the hate further. The zealot wants to ruin the woman’s life with devilish obsession. Their shared past has dark secrets and Liz has to run – again. The film was shot, partially, in Hungary.
