The 22th CineFest entry period has started

This year’s 22th CineFest Miskolc International Film Festival will take place from 4 to 12 September 2026, as previously announced. The biggest international film festival in Hungary is now calling for entries in the categories: feature films and documentaries (deadline: 31 May), and CineNewWave for emerging filmmakers (deadline: 15 June).

Only films that were made in 2025 or later and have not been previously screened in Hungary are eligible.
