Set in late-1990s Kyiv, this is a story of the young and rebellious amid the ruins of the Soviet regime
– those who had to grow up fast due to the circumstances but got lost in the adult world. It's a story we need constant reminding of, as some things only exist in the moment, while others last forever. The film debuted at the 2023 Venice Film Festival and won the FIPRESCI International Critics' Award in Istanbul this year.
