Nelka, who knows that she was adopted and raised in good conditions, goes to Locals Child Welfare Office as a young adult on a journey of inner self-discovery and, with the help of information from a friend in a similar situation, she seeks out Vera, who helps her to bring to life the memories of her birth and her time in the foster home. Nelka hopes that, although she has had many good opportunities in her life, her spiritual struggles and uncertainties will be resolved through a better understanding of her past.
