The film presents the psychological phenomenon of narcissistic abuse. The relationship between a painter and his model unfolds in the film. The woman, Echo, has self-esteem issues, and the man, Narcissus, sees himself as beautiful in his paintings. But as events unfold, the woman gradually realises who she really is, and at the end of the film she leaves the dream world to stand on her own two feet.
