Esther is one of the volunteers serving at the border, providing food and medicine to refugees in need. One day, she goes after a missing girl who has been wounded by Laca, a reserve border guard. Defying her own demon she goes to the forest only to meet Béla, a local poacher and his strange caravan. The encounter brings Esther closer to the truth, but also to her own demon.
