Driving around the streets of Cuba, Lav Diaz - the famous Filipino director - and Gustavo Flecha - a talkative Cuban taxi driver - discuss about their jobs and the world’s social condition. During the ride, the real reason of the director visit to Cuba emerges: Lav is looking for a mysterious ex-general escaped from the Philippines after the end of the Marcos dictatorship, Juan Mijares Cruz; it is said that the old man still lives hidden in the Cuban countryside, dangerously unpunished.
