In the animated short film “The Pattern”we meet three characters who live in separate subjective worlds, but all three need the same yellow flower to achieve happiness. Trapped in a broken, surreal world, a fat man wants to rebuild his destroyed house made of honey. An old man trapped in an old science fiction movie feels nostalgic for the natural world that existed before the time of destructive robots. And a boy in a playful fairytale world wants to replace his mother's broken flower with one just like it.
