Wrocław. Later, he is rescued by animal rights activists and that’s where his adventure starts. The story centers not around the people, but the way EO sees them and their strange ways. Cannes Jury Prize-winning director Jerzy Skolimowski’s emotionally compelling movie is at
once an imaginative journey through Eastern and Western Europe, a visually stunning and atmospheric film, a profound drama showcasing the life of a donkey, and a hard-hitting social critique.
