The international recognition of CineFest is hightlighted by the partnership we established with the Shanghai International Fil Festival in 2017, a collaboration that was reaffirmed this year. As we celebrate the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Hungary, this milestone provides a scepial opportunity to showcase Chines cinems in partnership with the Shanghai International Film Festival, as part of the Belt and Road program. The „China Focus” program will take place from 11 to 13 September, featuring the screening of five films. One film, ’Brief History of a Family’, will compete in the festival, while the other four – ’May’, ’Day Tripper’, ’A Land Behind’, and ’Johnny keep walking!’ – will be included in the program lineup.
