For the 16th time, the festival is organizing its Roma Picture program. This year’s program will be a bit unusual, as it will not only focus on the cinematic representation of Roma, but also on a kind of all-artistic Roma image.

The screening, followed by a round-table discussion, will focus on the artistic representation of Roma in the 19th and 20th centuries, highlighting the stereotypes from which art (and society) find it extremely difficult to break away.

The program is supervised by the Department of Cultural and Visual Anthropology of the University of Miskolc, in collaboration with Dikh TV.
