Berlinale contender Hungarian film in the CineNewWave competition program
The pre-jury has selected the eleven films to be screened at this year’s CineFest.
In 2016 the CineNewWave program has been established as the competition program for short features and animations by young Hungarian filmmakers. The program aims to introduce the young directing talents to the Festival’s audience.
Two of the films in the competition program have been screened at this year’s Berlinale. Mr. Mare by Luca Tóth and Entropia by Flóra Anna Buda have run at Berlinale with great success.
Besides the already successful films, several movies premiere at the CineFest.
Last year Hajni Kis’ Last Call has won the CineNewWave program.
