The 17th CineFest Miskolc International Film Festival announces its short feature competition lineup

The program of 2021 is probably the strongest of all years. From the entries the pre jury selected 38 films from 23 countries to compete for the title of Best Short Feature. The lineup includes 2021 Oscar nominee “The Letter Room” (by Elvira Lind), 2020 Palme d’Or winner “I Am Afraid to Forget Your Face” (by Sameh Alaa), 2020 Toronto short feature winner „Dustin” by Naila Guïguet and „Ecore” (by Samuel Petthey and Silvain Monney) that won the Annecy International Animated Film Festival in 2021. Live action and animation, funny and touching, light toned and thought provoking films are all part of this year’s program in which, as always, only Hungarian premieres compete for the attention of the audience and the jury.
