Hong Kong Film Days at the Cinefest

2018.09.18. 10:42

The cinematic art of Hong Kong introduced itself to the audience of the Jameson CineFest Miskolc International Film Festival last year for the first time. The program was sponsored by the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office (HKETO) from Berlin. The success of the last year led to a new agreement between the CineFest and the Berlin based office to continue and broaden their co-operation. This year not only screenings but also professional programs are included to the two days event.

In 2018, with the professional support of Create Hong Kong, visual effects are in the focus of the programs. The central theme has also influenced the selection of films: this year we have included films in which the visual effects are strong. A delegation of 11 professionals and officials arrive from Hong Kong to participate at the program.
