CINEFEST WINNERS IN BERLIN

2022. December 25. Sunday 20:27
We are proud of two Hungarian artists who will be participating in the February Berlinale Talents. Hajni Kis’s Wild Roots debuted in 2021 while Noémi Szakonyi’s Six Weeks in 2022 in Miskolc. The CineFest audience award winner Wild Roots later won three Hungarian Motion Picture Awards, including Best Feature. Six Weeks, perhaps this season’s biggest domestic festival success, started its career in Miskolc with the CineFest Grand Prize named after the Hungarian born studio founder Adolph Zukor. Hajni Kis and Noémi Szakonyi can participate in the program together with the best filmmakers from 68 countries, where they will organize professional discussions with director Todd Field and Cate Blanchett, among others.
